What Goes On In Your New Puppy’s Mind

1. I LOVE YOU! WHY ARE YOU LEAVING ME? Not the box with the cage door, I want to live by your ankles!

2. You left the remote on the floor. It’s now mine. I will chew and digest it, or maybe I will bury it for later. And yes, under the flooring in my new house.

3. A shoe. This is mine also. I will chew on it, protect it, and hide it from anyone who tries to take it away from me. Also, doll hair isn’t as good as spaghetti, but I will gladly eat it if it’s left on the floor!

4. Please, please, please scratch my belly!!! But when that mailman comes around again, know I will protect you!

5. Food? Food? I smell People Food! Safe Scraps, PLEASE!!!

6. Please don’t hit or spank me because I p’d on the floor! I’m trying my best to p outside, or on a piddle pad!!! I always have to go whenever I finish eating or drinking! Just take me outside for a minute, let me do my business, and take me back in, yes?

7. Will you love me forever? If so, I will love you back forever!!!

8. Can I sleep on your bed at night? If so, can I also take over your entire bed when we wake up in the morning? And, are those slippers my ‘for later’ snacks?

9. Pet me while I am eating so I learn not to bite the hand that feeds!

10. Those fingers taste delicious….may I lick them? And if I wag my tail afterward, will you please feed me what you were eating, at least a bite?
